Check your licensing stepsConfirm your current status and next steps directly with the relevant nursing board.

Confirm required certificationsAsk which courses, issuers and formats the employer accepts before paying for training.

Gather expiration datesFind the dates on your existing licenses and certification cards, then add them to your renewal tracker.

Prepare your application documentsCheck whether the employer requests a résumé, transcript, references or other documents. Keep sensitive records in a secure place.

List what you still needAsk the recruiter about unclear requirements and deadlines. Mark an item only after you have reviewed it.
