BETWEEN SHIFTS

Dating for healthcare students, with room to grow.

For eligible adults balancing healthcare study, placements and a life outside the next exam.

Plan a date your study week can hold

A brief coffee on a clear afternoon may fit better than a whole night out before an exam. Suggest a start and end time. Protect study and rest without making the other person guess when you want to see them.

Be clear about your stage

Say that you are a student rather than implying a qualification you have not earned. Talk about interests and goals beyond the course. You can be serious about a connection without knowing where every future placement will take you.

Keep placement information private

Avoid badges, schedules, patient material and identifiable clinical settings in photos. Use the verification process for evidence rather than posting school or placement documents on your dating profile.

Who is eligible?

You must be at least 18 and in an approved healthcare program, with identity and student eligibility verified before dating access. An adult age alone or interest in healthcare is not enough. Consult the current profession guide before applying.

Start with the right expectations

For eligible adults in healthcare. This is not a directory for patients or the public to find healthcare workers. Free registration is available in participating US communities, from Philadelphia and New York to Chicago, Houston, Miami and Los Angeles. Complete your profile and verification, then choose voluntary Early Discovery. Introductions depend on both people’s preferences; local pools may be small or empty.
